We currently have an opening for an Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) Coordinator.
The Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) Coordinator will oversee the provision of IBHS services at our Mahoning Valley Academy location.
Our IBHS Coordinator will be responsible for synchronizing treatment across home, school, and community settings, work with different disciplines to ensure quality of care and will assess child and family needs using structured measures and determine needed areas of support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-facilitate intakes and referrals.
Oversee the development of intensive behavior health services.
Work collaboratively with Family Support Services.
Complete written orders including bi-psychosocial for new and established students.
Complete or oversee the required paperwork as outlined in the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) regulations Mental Health Procedures Act (PA), and Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS).
Coordinate multi-system services and maintain a working knowledge of available community resources.
Facilitate the coordination of care with respect to outside providers.
Be responsive to the needs of children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those that relate to family dynamics, and the educational and community structures.
Maintain a working knowledge of Central Reach and NaviNet.
Attend IEP, Interagency, CAASPP and team meetings for all students on caseload as needed.
Assist with the creation of policy and procedures, as well as other organizational behavior management systems.
Work collaboratively with administrative staff to oversee annual audit.
Collaborate with Community Care Behavioral Health, Magellan, and private insurance companies about benefits eligibility of services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Valid PA Professional Counselor License (LPC)
ePromise Number (preferred)
Certified to complete level C category assessment including norm-references, criterion-references, and diagnostic assessments
5 Years Experience providing therapeutic interventions using applied behavior analysis and varied counseling modalities for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other mood/anxiety disorders
Advanced knowledge in programming for co-morbid conditions and complex case conceptualization
TACT 2 Experience (preferred) or similar verbal and physical de-escalation techniques
Background in Applied Behavior Analysis and adolescent therapy
Experience performing individual, group, and family therapy using a variety of treatment modalities
Experience with insurance authorization and billing processes and IBHS policies and procedures
