About the Role
You will have the opportunity to work with our Global Team to provide EDI guidance and quality services to external managed service clients as well as internal business units.
This job will offer you opportunities to work in diverse environments and be responsible for the provision of system support across multiple domains, design/quote/delivery projects as well as consulting and pre-sales opportunities.
You will work individually or within a team for Electronic Data Interchange support in conjunction on software product consulting projects to meet specific customer requirements and may include support, maintenance, and administration.
This may include working directly with the client and may travel to the client site to provide technical direction and guidance to the delivery team and take responsibility for meeting client requirements.
About You You have an expertise in EDI mapping software with experience in X12, XML, and flat file layouts that is driven by your passion for working in a modern software development business which is customer focused.
You are an excellent interpersonal communicator and your knowledge of development methodologies and intimate knowledge of SDLC make you an experienced professional working with software solutions involving direct customer or Operations interaction and working in a modern customer centric software development business.
You have an education background with a degree in Software programming, Computer Science or Engineering, i.
e.
minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience that supports your development, testing, documentation and deployment skills working in an agile team.
You have experience in utility/energy industry, experience NAESB/GISB and VAN.
You are an Electronic Data Interchange professional developer experienced in EDI messaging protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, FTP) plus Hands-on experience with CLEO Clarify and experience with EDI transactions (568/810/814/820/824/850/855/856/867/997) You have strong analytical and decision-making skills and enjoy working with Jira.
Key Responsibilities This opportunity will allow you to utilize your Electronic Data Interchange expertise to Develop Technical Specifications documents, design and programming of agreed developments/modifications to the system that may include but not limited to: You will be a EDI technical leader assisting other developers in the design of their components and collaborating with Business Analysts to ensure understanding and defining of client’s requirements.
You will be providing your Hansen team unit testing of code and quality assurance of systems, resolving issues relating to the integration of project deliverables, system promotions to existing and new customers.
Provide and ensure established standards and procedures are followed at all times and diagnosing and correct system defects while working to identify situations where the system must be customized to meet client requirements Prepare estimates of the labor hours and calendar time required to implement proposed changes to the software or correct root causes of operational problems Accurately estimate time frames required to complete assigned tasks and resolve issues relating to the integration of project deliverables.
