The Database Administrator works directly with the Information Systems Specialist and Director of VDC along with external collaborators to oversee the maintenance of the Autodesk Fabrication Database.
We are looking for candidates who are technically inclined, process oriented and driven by customer success.
Fabrication MEP Database Administrator’s Responsibilities: Creation of Fabrication .
itm parts Creation of Revit family .
rfa content Creation and maintenance of rule-based connectors for piping and duct systems Maintenance and creation of specific Fabrication based reports and bills of materials Creation and maintenance of pricing tables Regularly update product data to ensure accuracy of information Contribute to development and training of new processes and procedures to assist with material tracking, estimating, and procurement Review and improve upon existing database content and reporting Develop database content for new and added manufacturer product catalogs Administrator’s Requirements: Extensive experience with Fabrication CADmep Database administration is a must Demonstrated and recent direct experience with the process, workflow, and use of Autodesk Fabrication (CADmep/CAMduct/ESTmep) Must have experience with .
ITM content creation Must have experience with fabrication parts in Revit Knowledge of: Database profile creation/management Service and Service Template creation/management Product Information Editor experience Understanding the Costing and Labor setup within the CADmep Database and .
ITMs Experience with reading and interpreting MEP job specifications Workflow/QAQC and Documentation creation and implementation experience Product material knowledge of plumbing and piping systems desired.
