Automotive Parts Counterperson

The Parts Counterperson will assist internal customers and Technicians with parts requests to ensure that the correct part is obtained the first time.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Provides excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to ensure understanding of needs, and supplying parts in a timely manner Mirror matches parts for the assistance of Technicians Costs parts on invoice Coordinates with Technicians and Service department to ensure that parts requests are met Stocks incoming product and tracks inventory Handle some retail customers at our parts counter.
Fill wholesale parts customers that call or walk in Skills necessary to be successful in this role include the following; Valid driver's license with good driving history At least 1 year of Parts Counter experience preferred Ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a professional manner Ability to maintain composure under pressure and adapt to change Good computer skills and attention to detail Automotive knowledge will be a plus High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements for Position: Be able to lift at least 50lbs.
