00 per hour Who You Would Report to Membership Service Director Expected Hours Per Week Part Time non-exempt up to 25 hours per week Evenings and Weekends Where You Would Be Working GVYMCA Bethlehem Branch: 430 E Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018 What We Are Looking For We are looking for a individual who serves as building security and directs all facets of member service in the absence of supervisory level staff.
A Day in the Life as a Manager on Duty / Security As Manager on Duty / Security you will help the GVYMCA achieve its goals to ensure our Branch is problem-free and safe.
You will be responsible for walk-throughs of the building inside and outside, assisting the Welcome Center at times, and responding to emergencies within the branch while on duty.
You will help to promote the work of the GVYMCA as a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Responsibilities As a Manager on Duty / Security Follows procedures for opening/closing of facility as necessary according to assigned shift.
Provides overall coordination of planned facility activities as well as maintains sense of order throughout the facility.
Assists the Welcome Center team in new member intake and tours providing a family-friendly atmosphere and sharing the YMCA story.
Conducts facility and grounds “walk-throughs” minimally each hour while on duty to ensure the safety of all members, staff and participants.
Ensures all mechanical systems and equipment are in working order and reports any that need repair.
Handles all emergency situations in the building with the assistance of staff on duty at the time of the incident.
Completes reports specific to any incidents.
Performs other duties as assigned.

In 2014, the Forks YMCA Education Center was established.
The Slate Belt branch was opened in 2015.
In January 2017, the Allentown YMCA joined the Greater Valley YMCA.
