The main purpose of this position is to support the Company Store by ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service.
This is accomplished by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting customers, providing solid product and promotion knowledge, and excellent retail services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.
• Operate the POS system.
Process payroll and credit card transactions.
Reconcile daily reporting when necessary.
• Assist customers with merchandise questions, purchases, and returns.
• Maintain stocked and orderly appearance of the store, including all shelves, racks, displays, and back stock areas.
• Receive and verify items and counts of all incoming product.
Restock and display all merchandise.
• Maintain accurate on-hand inventory reporting.
• Maintain a supply of trip envelopes, permit and fuel updates and benefit and 401K brochures.
Distribute to driver associates as necessary.
• Assist Driver Relations with projects including, but not limited to, calling new drivers to check in with them and assist with questions or refer them to another department.
Conduct customer service surveys by calling drivers and getting their feedback on their most recent interaction with store personnel.
• Assist Safety with projects including, but not limited to, calling drivers for updated W-4’s, missing student paperwork, and/or copies of tickets/inspections.
• Assist other departments and terminal management as requested.
• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.

• Knowledge of retailing (customer service policies and practices).
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Skilled in Word, Excel, and other software programs.
General computer proficiency is required.
• Excellent organization skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• One to two years of retail store or customer service experience is preferred.
