Candidates will primarily be required to fully understand the intent of the project work, plan work activities including equipment and materials, work with the crew and keep the project on track and be responsible for crew safety.
Types of projects undertaken:
Concrete restoration on commercial structures
Concrete repairs on bridge structures and dams
Concrete upgrades in water retaining tanks & reservoirs
Waterproofing using cementitious waterproofing materials
Concrete reinstatement using shotcrete methods
Concrete removal and surface profiling using Hydro Demolition
Construction joint sealing and expansion joint installation
Cementitious grout pumping and placement
Crack injection using epoxy and polyurethane grout
Structural strengthening using FRP
Candidates will need to:
Reliable and good work commitment.
Positive attitude and good personnel skills.
Organized and with good planning abilities.
Technical knowledge & training related to concrete repair and waterproofing.
Product knowledge using a variety of concrete repair materials.
Have adequate training and knowledge when working with scaffold, mobile aerial lifts and confined spaces.
